Addiction, Addictive Behavior, Recovery and the Church
|
| Taught by Donna Coleman, this study will give a Biblical overview
of addictions and recovery. This class will cover alcoholism and
mood-altering substances, compulsive addictions, co-dependency, and
twelve step programs. It will give a foundation and practical help
for self-examination (2 Cor. 13:5), as well as educate and comfort
you as you or someone you love walks through addiction and recovery.
2 Cor. 1:4 promises us that "God supports us in every hardship,
so that we are able to come to the support of others, in every hardship
of theirs because of the encouragement that we ourselves receive
from God." |
