Additional Learning Opportunities
|
| Many mid-week classes, conferences, seminars and gatherings are
available throughout the South Bay for people who are interested in
expanding their understanding of the Christian life. Below you will
find the opportunities available at Saratoga Federated Church or
nearby sister churches.

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)
BSF features a seven-year study schedule covering: Genesis,
Romans, Matthew, Life of Moses, John, Israel and the Minor Prophets,
and Acts of the Apostles. Classes are presented with a challenging
fourfold approach including: daily questions for personal Bible
study, lively discussion groups where insights from personal study
are shared, interesting lectures with applications for daily living,
and enriching notes distributed to class members attending the
lecture each week. |
BSF offers day classes for women, evening classes for
men, evening classes for women, and evening classes for single young
adults (ages 18–35). Various class locations exist throughout the
Bay Area. The two closest to the church are:
| Women's BSF: |
Saratoga Federated Church,
Wednesdays, 9:00–11:00am |
| Men's BSF: |
Calvary Church in Los Gatos,
Mondays, 7:00–8:45pm |
BSF also offers a children's program. Day women's classes offer
children's classes for preschoolers (at least two years old) whose
family members attend the adult class. Evening men's and evening
women's classes offer programs for children, grades 1–12, whose
family members attend BSF. |

A place to build relationships, and to hear inspiring speakers
address matters of the Christian life. This group also takes on
projects that express the heart of the group. Fellowship circles
offer the additional aspect of Bible study or discussion on matters
of spiritual development. There is also an annual women's retreat
that allows for a time of reflection, sharing, fellowship and
learning. Luncheon meetings are held the first Tuesday of each
month. Fellowship circles meet on the third Tuesday of each month. |
|
On one Saturday per month you can treat yourself to a delicious
breakfast and a chance to hear a special speaker on any number of
relevant topics addressing the needs and interests of men. These
gatherings, along with an annual men's retreat, provide excellent
opportunities for networking with other men, sharing a common bond
of faith, and learning about living the Christian life in the
context of daily living. |
|
A community of friendship, caring and learning — not to mention
fun events. Every Sunday at 10:30am singles meet in the chapel. |
