Our Vision and Values
|
| "Our ministry exists to reach children and students, to
connect them with Christians, to help them grow in their
faith, to challenge them to serve others using their God-given
gifts, and to honor God with their daily lives." |

| Our Values: |
| Our values in children and student ministry have been woven
into the P.R.A.C.T.I.C.E. acrostic
below. The definition of "practice" is a
"custom or habit of doing something." Within
children and student ministry, we want these values to be our
custom, our habit, and our P.R.A.C.T.I.C.E. |

| The Scripture that informs our Vision |
| The Great Commandment says: |
| Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the
Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law,
tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the
greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as
yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two
commandments." - Matthew
22:34 |
| The Great Commission says: |
| Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in
heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am
with you always, to the very end of the age."
- Matthew
